Remembering 2023 and our journey in 2024!

Where have we been sowing Regeneration? What books have we published?
Telling our journey also means telling the story of the books we’ve published and those that are on the way!

Bambual Portugal has been active for over 3 and a half years, dedicated to publishing books that seek to answer important questions and provide transformative proposals, helping us build together a different narrative for a better world.

In 2023, we traveled across the country from north to south, literally.

We passed through 7 districts and participated in over 25 events!

Quite an achievement, we thought!

• From Minho (Fafe) to the Alentejo coast (S. Luís – Odemira);
• From Trás-os-Montes (Vimioso) to the interior of Baixo Alentejo (Mértola);
• From the Lisbon metropolitan area, from the West (Sta. Cruz and Torres Vedras) to Arrábida (Setúbal and Palmela);
• From the center of the country (Viseu) to the cosmopolitan cities of Lisbon and Porto.

We attended many events, connected with many people, and gained new readers for Bambual Portugal.

We also launched several books – 10 to date, and another one by the Lisbon Book Fair in 2024, the 94th edition – an illustrated book.

Chronologically, we launched:

In 2020, Designing Regenerative Cultures;

In 2021, Active Hope, Cooperation Pedagogy, and finally, Economy for Emerging Consciousness;

In 2022, Regenerative Leadership and Portugal 2050;

In 2023, Foot on the Road, Life in Syntropy, and at the end of the year, Guilding;

In 2024, we published in April, the book Social Constructions of Learning by José Pacheco.

Very soon, during the month of May, we will have Creatures and Beings of the Portuguese Imagination by Pedro Salvador Mendes.

Next June, we will launch our first book in English, Syntropic Agriculture According to Ernst Götsch by Fernando Rebello and Daniela Sakamoto, and before the summer holidays, we plan to release What If… we freed our imagination to create the future we desire?, by Rob Hopkins, well known for creating the Transition Network.

Bambual Portugal’s journey has expanded the range of books and themes associated with our core topic, the Regeneration of Living Systems, in its various dimensions and aspects. Our aim is to provide knowledge that fosters the creation and promotion of conditions for Life, in its constant transformation, to renew itself and flourish in its many dimensions.
