What is the purpose of processing your personal data?

At Bambual Editora Portugal, Lda., we process the information provided by interested parties with the aim of informing them about our products, services, news, specific campaigns, and events from Bambual Portugal, as well as managing their registration and participation in events in which they request our involvement.

Only individuals over the age of 16 can give their consent.

If automated decisions are made based on such information, the user will be duly informed in the data protection policy before their data is collected on the registration form of our web platforms.

The different possible processing purposes are:

When creating an account on the website or participating in a promotion, a profile is generated with the basic information, interests, and preferences declared by the user. For the processing of personal data, we may also use platforms from suppliers acting as data processors for Bambual Portugal to manage complementary services, such as sending communications or securely registering and storing data. The data will always be processed based on the above-mentioned purposes, and in no case will this involve the transfer of these same data.

How long will we keep your data?

The personal data provided will be kept until the deletion or revocation of your consent is requested by the interested party.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The legal basis for informing you by mail, phone, and electronic means about our products, services, news, and events from Bambual Portugal, as well as managing your registration for events you request, is the provision of consent. The consent will remain valid until the user decides to revoke it.

The legal basis for informing you about products similar to those you have previously purchased is Bambual Portugal’s legitimate interest.

What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation of whether Bambual Portugal is processing their personal data.

The personal data we process at Bambual Portugal is provided by the interested party.

The categories of data processed are:

• Identification codes or keys
• Postal or email addresses
• Preferences and interests associated with our content and declared by the user through the web form
• Preferences and interests added by the user in their web profile
• Preferences and interests associated with the user’s activity on the web

Specially protected data are not processed.

How do we ensure the security of your data?

Bambual Portugal adopts the necessary measures to prevent alteration, unauthorized processing, or access, taking into account, at all times, technological advancements and the state of the technology.
